Auburn Tiger McGarry

I added this page because the McGarry's and their cat Tiger were very special and very important to Tammy . I myself have been lucky enough to meet Tiger several times , at Sweet Apple animal hospital where he would frequently come for SubQ fluids , which Tammy fondly always reffered to as " watering " . So when Tiger would come through the door , they would call us in the back over the loudspeaker and say " Tiger is here for watering ." We always enjoyed seeing him . He was a very sweet soul and never gave us any problems . His parents were always there with him , so I have also gotten to know them , and frequently saw them over the past few  months going to see Tammy . One of the things Tammy has left behind for all of us , is all of our new friendships .

Tammy had been ill and wasn't working anymore , but it was before she was home bound completely. She had gone to Auburn one last time , and later found out Tiger had passed away . We thought we would share the note she wrote the McGarry's and Tiger's picture so you could have a face with the name .
And so here is my tribute to a beautiful cat .

"I have had the pleasure of knowing many fine cats, but I have met very few with the grace and dignity of my precious Auburn Tiger McGarry.  I was not aware of his passing; so I bought him a little something when I was in Auburn last week.  I will give it to you when it is not so painful.  He was such a fighter-such a noble cat, and he was family.  I will miss "watering Tiger." I love you guys very much, & since I didn't get a chance, please tell my boy I said bon voyage (never goodbye) & war eagle.
Love,
Tammy"
